Compensation
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2131.20
- Weekly Taxable Amount: $1000.0
- Weekly Stipend/Non Taxable Amount: $1131.20
You must be duplicating expenses to receive stipends. If you are driving versus relocating, we will instead offer mileage reimbursements. Rates assume Travel. Locals within 50 miles may have a rate adjustment.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years acute medical Care Manager/Utilization Management experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Experience performing utilization review in a hospital setting required
- Experience with patient ratios of 35-45 required
- Proficient with Epic charting system, recent use within the last 6-12 months required
- Experience with Medicare regulations regarding specific Utilization Management processes required
- Experience with InterQual criteria required
License & Certification Required
- California state license required (pending license accepted but must be licensed upon start date)
Skills Required
- Knowledge of acute hospital admission criteria
- Ability to perform appeals and denials processes
- Familiarity with CMS guidelines
- Experience with concurrent and retrospective review
- Understanding of CPT coding and billing
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups)
- Knowledge of HEDIS measures
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of medical necessity criteria
- Experience with surgical services
- Experience with Workers Compensation processes
Desired Skills
- Additional knowledge of California and Medi-Cal systems preferred
- Experience with HMOs and IPAs preferred
Requirements
- Current Resume with up to 7 year work history, with gaps explained - position, unit, job type, city, state must be indentified for each assignment
- Negative TB Test (Within 12 Months)
- Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
- Current - Tdap/Flu Vaccinations
- Must be able to pass pre-employment, background and drug screening
