Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN - LPN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading LTC in Camden, ME. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide licensed practical nursing services in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes
• Assist with patient care activities and daily living needs
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Participate in patient care planning and implementation
• Maintain current LPN licensure and required certifications
• Work assigned shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ME
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
