Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - CNA to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading LTC in Albuquerque, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy during care delivery
• Document patient care activities and observations accurately
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain current CNA certification and required training
• Work assigned 12.5-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team members
• Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean and organized
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
• Follow facility policies and procedures for patient care standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
