Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy equipment • Maintain current BLS certification and CA State Fluoroscopy Permit • Provide radiologic services for adolescent through geriatric patient populations • Complete call responsibilities 12 days/weekends per month with 30-minute response time • Float between units as required • Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation • Set up and operate fluoroscopy equipment for various procedures • Maintain sterile technique and sterile field during procedures • Assist with vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement • Support catheter and drain procedures including PICC lines and central venous access • Assist with embolization procedures and thrombolysis/thrombectomy • Perform equipment setup and room circulation duties • Prepare and manage access sites for procedures • Support dialysis graft interventions including fistulograms and declots • Assist with specialized procedures such as TIPS, vertebroplasty, and chemoembolization • Maintain proficiency with PACS system • Work with various equipment manufacturers including Philips and Siemens • Provide weekend coverage through call rotation • Complete 12 hours of orientation training • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for interventional radiology services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
