Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care in Cath Lab setting for 8-12 daily cases • Perform coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures • Conduct peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker procedures • Manage patients with Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid state nursing licensure • Complete 30 hours of facility orientation • Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations • Work weekend shifts as required • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during day shifts • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
