Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Flint, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate special imaging equipment to assess patients before, during and after medical procedures pertaining to the heart and lungs
• Support physicians and surgeons during cardiovascular procedures
• Perform cardiovascular technician duties in the catheterization laboratory
• Assist with general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Maintain valid Michigan state licensure
• Participate in on-call rotation every 5-6th weekend
• Cover weeknight on-call shifts one night every 2-3 weeks
• Work 8-hour shifts (8a-8:30p) for 3/12 hour schedule or 10-hour shifts (7:30a-6p) for 4/10 hour schedule
• Adhere to health system-wide profile standards
• Comply with facility policies and procedures for cardiovascular care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
