Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ER to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing and health screening requirements
• Complete mandatory drug screening and background check
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for emergency nursing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening, and Varicella
• Complete physical/health statement documentation
• Participate in conflict of interest disclosure processes
• Complete education verification and professional background checks
• Pass Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete skills checklist assessments
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access and security training requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
