Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - SNF to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Work night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am
• Work every other weekend as required
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and needs
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment and devices
• Document patient care and treatment outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care interventions
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures
• Maintain current respiratory therapy licensure and certifications
• Follow facility policies and procedures for respiratory care delivery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
