Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Wound Care to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized wound care nursing services to patients
• Maintain current WCC (Wound Care Certification)
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Complete mandatory drug screening and health assessments
• Maintain current nursing license and verify credentials
• Complete required skills checklist and competency assessments
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Undergo background check and security clearances
• Complete mandatory training programs and competency modules
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Work scheduled shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
• Maintain professional standards and continuing education requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
