Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in medical surgical unit
• Work weekend package schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
• Work night shift hours from 1745-0615
• Complete required professional training modules including child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain current nursing license and complete license verification
• Complete required health screenings including drug screening, fit testing, and physical examination
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain confidentiality agreements for patient and proprietary information
• Complete color vision testing as required
• Adhere to code of conduct and integrity standards
• Complete system access forms and security agreements
• Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
