Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - X-ray to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading $facility_type$ in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support emergency room, inpatient, and operating room services
• Operate Shimadzu imaging equipment for various diagnostic procedures
• Work independently as a radiologic technologist with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with a second technologist during shift operations
• Maintain current NYS License and ARRT certification
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Work midnight shifts Sunday through Thursday from 11p-7a
• Work holidays that fall within the assigned schedule
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required vaccinations and health screenings
• Complete skills checklist and Joint Commission testing requirements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for diagnostic imaging services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
