Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ER to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Dyersville, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical patients in a dual-capacity role
• Transition between medical-surgical and emergency department duties as patient volume requires
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Work every 3rd Friday/Saturday/Sunday rotation
• Participate in holiday rotation including at least 1 holiday during assignment
• Complete required Trinity training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Trinity IA Sing Report and OFAC training requirements
• Pass Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete fit testing and 9-panel drug screening
• Maintain compliance with Trinity Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA testing, and Varicella
• Submit to criminal background check and education verification
• Complete Joint Commission testing and system access requirements
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM
• Maintain valid nursing license and provide license verification
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
