Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading SNF in Gardendale, AL. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing care services in a skilled nursing facility environment
• Work night shift hours from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Supervise and coordinate with nursing assistants and support staff
• Participate in care planning and patient assessments
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
