Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in West Des Moines, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures and diagnostic imaging services
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work weekends as needed
• Complete required Trinity training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete specialty specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain valid state licensure and certificate verification
• Complete required health screenings including fit test, drug screen, and vaccinations
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements and health questionnaires
• Complete immunization requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, TB testing, and Varicella
• Adhere to facility policies including Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete background checks and integrity compliance documentation
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and educational requirements
• Maintain color vision certification for imaging procedures
• Complete required documentation and system access forms
• Work scheduled shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
