Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Salem, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Implement and follow through on established treatment plans
• Provide outpatient hand therapy services
• Treat patients with post-operative hand surgeries
• Perform splinting procedures and fabrication
• Maintain current BLS certification from AHA within 90 days of hire
• Hold valid Oregon occupational therapy license or be license eligible
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Float between hospital units and affiliate facilities as needed
• Provide minimum of one supervisor reference
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Work scheduled 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Support the mission through quality occupational therapy services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
