Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lab Specialist - MLT to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Nampa, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis as Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist
• Maintain MLS or MT (ASCP) certification
• Work 36 hours per week on night shifts with 7 on/7 off schedule
• Participate in holiday rotation and work holidays that fall on weekly rotation
• Complete required onboarding documentation and compliance forms
• Maintain current license and certificate verification
• Complete fit testing and health screening requirements
• Comply with drug screening and background check requirements
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for laboratory operations
• Maintain confidentiality agreements and system security protocols
• Complete required educational verification and professional documentation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
