Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations for patients of all ages including neonates, children and adults
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARDMS/ARMDS RVT credentials
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually (approximately 16 hours, non-billable)
• Work 4x10 night shifts from 9pm-7am
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Work weekends as required
• Maintain guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
