Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Dyersville, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in both Emergency Department and Med/Surg units
• Serve as Charge RN when assigned to Med-Surg unit
• Respond to Emergency Department when patients arrive while working Med-Surg
• Work every third weekend as part of staffing requirements
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Complete required onboarding training modules and certifications
• Complete annual compliance training and competency testing
• Maintain valid RN licensure
• Complete required health screenings and immunizations
• Pass drug screening and background check requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete required abuse training and reporting protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
