Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations and procedures as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Work scheduled shifts Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Complete all required onboarding documentation and forms
• Maintain current professional license and certification verification
• Complete mandatory health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Obtain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Pass fit testing and complete physical/health statement requirements
• Complete drug screening and background check processes
• Adhere to code of conduct and facility policies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Complete education verification and professional development requirements
• Utilize facility systems and complete required system access documentation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
