Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized wound care nursing services to patients • Maintain current WOCN (Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse) certification • Complete license/certificate verification and maintain current nursing licensure • Undergo fit testing for personal protective equipment • Complete required drug screening and health assessments • Adhere to code of conduct and professional standards • Complete I-9 employment verification documentation • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information • Participate in integrity and audit compliance processes • Complete required skills checklists and competency assessments • Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella • Complete annual physical/health statement requirements • Participate in conflict of interest disclosure processes • Undergo background checks and security clearances • Complete education verification requirements • Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance activities • Maintain professional liability insurance • Complete system access and security training • Work scheduled shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM • Assess and treat patients with various wound care needs • Document patient care and treatment plans • Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient care strategies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
