Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology and catheterization lab procedures as a certified RAD Tech
• Provide on-call coverage for weekday and weekend shifts as required
• Operate radiological equipment and imaging systems during interventional procedures
• Assist physicians with catheterization lab procedures and interventional radiology cases
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required health screenings including PPD/IGRA testing and vaccinations
• Undergo comprehensive background checks and compliance verification
• Complete mandatory training modules and skills assessments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security protocols
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Complete required documentation and forms for onboarding and ongoing compliance
• Adapt to variable census levels and potential call-offs during low volume periods
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
