Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg Tele to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Hartford, CT. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in Med Surg Telemetry unit
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize telemetry monitoring experience in patient care
• Work 7p-7a shifts every other weekend
• Float within med/surg cluster as needed
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form
• Maintain valid RN state licensure
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty specific competency testing
• Undergo required health screenings including physical/health statement
• Complete required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo respiratory fit testing and evaluation
• Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing
• Maintain confidentiality per Trinity Patient & Property Information & System Security Agreement
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Complete drug screening requirements
• Adhere to Trinity system policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
