Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Polson, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and LDRP units
• Maintain current NRP certification and fetal monitoring competency
• Float between units as assigned
• Accept on-call assignments as scheduled
• Work weekend rotations every third to every other weekend
• Manage patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4 as appropriate
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain valid MT or Compact RN license
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Complete compliance documentation prior to start date
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Work 48-hour schedules with overtime after 48 hours in a week
• Follow all scheduling requirements and contracted schedule commitments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
