Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Emergency Room setting
• Work every other weekend as required
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Complete required compliance documentation and onboarding requirements
• Undergo drug screening and health assessments including fit testing
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccines
• Complete annual influenza vaccination when required
• Undergo tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete physical/health statement and respirator evaluation
• Maintain valid state nursing licensure with verification
• Complete criminal background check and integrity screening
• Undergo education verification and professional reference checks
• Complete Joint Commission testing and system-specific training
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Complete patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Work 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
