Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - LTC to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading SNF in Clayton, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing assistant care to patients in accordance with established care plans
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient observations
• Maintain current CNA certification and complete continuing education requirements
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
• Assist nursing staff with patient care procedures and treatments
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain clean, safe patient environments
• Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly and professionally
• Transport patients safely using wheelchairs, gurneys, and other mobility equipment
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
