Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
• Work every third weekend as part of the regular schedule
• Complete required 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon) testing for onboarding
• Complete COVID-19 questionnaire and maintain vaccination requirements
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain compliance with OFAC requirements and sing reporting
• Complete specialty skills checklist and competency testing
• Maintain current immunization status including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical/health statement requirements
• Pass required drug screening
• Complete code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain current RN licensure and complete verification process
• Complete background checks and screening requirements
• Complete education verification and system access requirements
• Complete fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance (NSO)
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
