Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - CCU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) setting
• Complete required child and adult dependent abuse training
• Submit mandatory reporting documentation as required
• Complete OFAC compliance screening and documentation
• Demonstrate clinical competency through skills checklist completion
• Maintain required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination and health questionnaires
• Maintain current immunization status for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Undergo annual physical examination and health assessments
• Complete drug screening requirements
• Adhere to code of conduct and professional standards
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Submit to criminal background check verification
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain valid RN licensure and certification verification
• Complete respiratory fit testing requirements
• Provide employment eligibility verification (I-9)
• Complete color vision testing as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
