Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Neuro to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Neuro specialty unit
• Work day shifts with varying hours of 8-10 hours depending on department needs
• Complete 10-12 on-call shifts per month as assigned
• Participate in holiday rotation as part of the on-call team
• Complete required health screenings including 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Obtain and maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete Trinity-specific training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Pass required drug screening and background checks
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain current RN licensure and complete license verification
• Complete required compliance documentation and system access forms
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete color vision testing as required
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
