Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ICU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the ICU specialty area
• Work night shift schedule from 1900-0730
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current NIH certification
• Utilize EPIC charting system for patient documentation
• Maintain valid RN state licensure
• Complete required drug screening and health clearances
• Complete mandatory compliance documentation and forms
• Participate in specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete required vaccination requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Undergo tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA) and annual TB questionnaire
• Complete background check and verification processes
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain current education and license verification
• Complete required orientation and training programs
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IN
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
