Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions
• Maintain current PTA licensure and certifications
• Follow established treatment protocols and procedures
• Ensure patient safety during all therapeutic activities
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain professional standards and ethical practices
• Complete required continuing education and training requirements
• Assist with patient assessments and outcome measurements
• Provide patient and family education as directed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
