Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Oregon City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform portable x-rays throughout the facility
• Conduct routine x-ray examinations in the radiology department
• Operate c-arm x-ray equipment in surgical settings
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Work Friday through Sunday schedule from 0700-1930
• Complete on-call duties Wednesday 1700-0615 approximately 2-4 days per month
• Work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday 0700-1930
• Maintain 36 hours per week minimum
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float to affiliate hospitals when required
• Maintain current state licensure and certifications
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years
• Complete required compliance documentation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
