Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP - LTC to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech-language pathology services at Meigs Middle School (3 days per week)
• Provide speech-language pathology services at Edwins Elementary (2 days per week)
• Float between assigned school locations as needed
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
• Follow school district policies and procedures
• Maintain current SLP certification and licensure
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in FL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
