Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care services in the Cath Lab setting with 1:1 patient ratios
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation during procedures
• Manage pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz monitoring
• Perform left heart and right heart catheterizations
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Float between units within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work on-call shifts including weekdays and weekends as required
• Complete 40 hours of orientation and required training modules pre-start and annually
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Maintain valid state nursing licensure
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete required compliance documentation and background checks
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
