Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Medford, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to patients on all inpatient units including clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, and medical-surgical units
• Treat patients in surgical units including same day unit and short stay unit
• Deliver physical therapy services in the emergency department
• Provide occasional services in the inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work one regular weekend shift per week
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Treat approximately 6 patients in an 8-hour day
• Provide patient transport to and from treatment areas
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain reliable transportation for the assignment
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
